Finally, there is a list of 33 people who were inducted in the new F1 Paddock Hall of Fame, a scheme that aims to recognize those who have consistently contributed to Formula 1 for more than 25 years. The list features people from different walks of life, including team personnel, PR people, photographers, TV commentators, journalists and even cameramen. They were chosen from a list of candidates numbering around 90 people, with the choice being made by a panel featuring Ross Brawn, Charlie Whiting, Maurizio Arrivabene and Martin Brundle. There were mementos, kindly provided by Brembo.
More people will follow next year, but this year's list was as follows: Fredrik Af Petersons, Gianpiero Agosti, Pino Allievi, Bernard Asset, Ralf Bach, Marie-Claude Beaumont, Roger Benoit, Stefania Bocchi, Ann Bradshaw, Paul-Henri Cahier, Agnes Carlier, Ercole Colombo, Bob Constanduros, David Coulthard, Tony Dodgins, Gerald Donaldson, Kai Ebel, Maurice Hamilton, Damon Hill, Kaz Kawai, Josef Leberer, Alan Permane, Giorgio Piola, Nigel Roebuck, Joe Saward, Franco Scandinaro, Michael Schmidt, Eric Silbermann, Andy Stevenson, Steven Tee, David Tremayne, Nigel Wollheim and Beat "Return to" Zehnder.
